- I have used a 5mm hook with an 8ply cotton blend yarn – Lorena Batik. The original pattern calls for worsted weight or 10ply yarn, but the pattern has not been affected.
- The boho style headband has been crocheted with a mix of:

- (sc) single crochet
- (sc2tog) single crochet 2 together
- (dc) double crochet
- This is a great simple beginner pattern that makes up quickly.
