Hi everyone ….I’m Wendy.
This is my very first blog post!
Why I started
This website started because I wanted to get my brand a little more well-known, so I can sell more stuff… so I would then be able to buy more yarn… so I can crochet more stuff. Aside from loving to crochet, I love the fact that there are people out there who would love to own something I personally made.
I love the yarn buying, (click here if you love yarn buying as well!) the crocheting, the online listing, hanging out with my fellow marketeers, even the photography when it works out well. I could live without social media though…if that were possible.
What I like
I take a lot of care with the items I make, and I try to choose yarns and patterns that I would be happy to have for myself.
I tend to favour cotton and cotton blend yarns, because they are a great fibre for home wares and I love the finish they give. I’m also happy working with premium acrylics for colder weather items like beanies and scarves.
I haven’t really used yarns made from animal fibres much, but do look forward to trying them.
For now I make a variety of homewares and items useful around your home, ladies and unisex accessories and some fun stuff for the kids.
I have loved using Ice Yarns cotton and blended yarns so much that I am also selling them in my store now!!
Take a look
If you would like to take a look at what I have for sale , you can click the ‘shop now‘ button. As I post more I will give you more details about each item.
I’m very new to the whole blogging thing, so will work it out as I go… it’s been a bit hard going… but I’m definitely learning new things.
For now I hope to keep you up to date with what I’ve been making, what and where you can purchase from, the markets I attend, my thoughts on different yarns and anything else I imagine might be somewhat of interest.
Say hello
I would value any feedback you would like to offer and would love to hear your comments as well. If you would like to know more ‘about me’ you can read the about me page.
I aim to update my site regularly, so please subscribe to keep up to date with new patterns and yarn, and when I make new posts.
I hope to hear from you all.
